The War on Rape - A Survivors Battle

On October 23rd 2010 the actions of another changed my life forever. Ever since i have been battling to transition from 'victim' to 'survivor'. This blog documents my journey as i try to overcome my own battle and then join other survivors as we try to win the War on Rape.

"Death isn't the only way to loose a life..." I am a 22 year old female 'survivor' of rape/sexual assault. I use the quotation marks because i still see myself as a victim. During my struggles i felt the need to put whats in my head down on paper, so I brought a journal. But putting pen to paper...well didn't really work for me. So i opted for an online journal/blog instead. I am not only a survivor fighting to win my own personal battle, but also striving to win the entire War on Rape.
