On October 23rd 2010 the actions of another changed my life forever. Ever since i have been battling to transition from 'victim' to 'survivor'. This blog documents my journey as i try to overcome my own battle and then join other survivors as we try to win the War on Rape.

Tumbling Down the Rabbit Hole
My Day, Thoughts and Feeling summed up in one Photo, leading upto Anniversary... Day 1
I know how hard anniversaries can be. But remember as you feel like you are falling, there are many hands out to catch you. Take gentle care of you xxoo
I love your idea of using just a picture to describe where you are at. I might have to do this myself if you don't mind.
I am so sorry to hear about what has happened to you. I was raped almost four months ago on my birthday and I want you to know that you making it to your one year anniversary shows me that it is possible to keep going in life after you have been raped. I am sure that it has not been an easy journey, but I thank you for sharing your story with us. It has helped me a great deal. Hang in there.
Thank you Laney, what a beautiful thing to say and thank you Pastor Sharon for being another set of arms!!
Christine, of course i don't mind! :-) Im so sorry to hear you have also been affected by rape, its tough on any day but your birthday... i hope you are able to reclaim that day as your birthday and not the anniversary of something awful! He doesn't deserve to take that from you! Thank you for saying my writing has helped you, it lets me know im doing a good a job and its important for me to keep writing here!
